The 2019 NFL regular season is still three months away, but with teams beginning (and ending) mandatory minicamps and training camp set to kick off in late-July, it’s worth taking a quick look at which first-round picks from the 2019 NFL draft remain unsigned.

To date, 21 picks have inked their rookie contracts, including Kyler Murray, who was selected first overall by the Arizona Cardinals.

The next five picks after Murray remain unsigned, per NFL.com, including Nick Bosa (49ers), Quinnen Williams (Jets), Clelin Ferrell (Raiders), Devin White (Buccaneers), and Daniel Jones (Giants).

Bosa will be especially interesting to keep an eye on. His brother, Joey, held out of Chargers camp for four weeks following the 2016 NFL draft because of offset language in his contract. He was something of a trailblazer because of the rookie wage scale and the little wiggle room agents and players have to work with when negotiating their first contracts.

Will Nick do something similar?

The next first-rounder still unsigned is Brian Burns, who was selected 16th overall by the Panthers. Dexter Lawrence, the player picked right after Burns by the Giants at No. 17, is unsigned, too.

While we’re on the topic of the Giants, their third first-round pick, DeAndre Baker? Yeah, he doesn’t have a contract either.

New York isn’t the only team with multiple first-rounders unsigned, though. The Raiders, in addition to Ferrell, have yet to come to terms with Josh Jacobs (No. 24 overall) and Johnathan Abram (No. 27 overall).

That leaves Jerry Tillery (Chargers, No. 28 overall) as the last of the ‘Unsigned 11.’

Fan bases shouldn’t panic at this point, however. Some teams like getting these contracts done right away while others are more patient. Players who were picked around Bosa in the top five are waiting to see what kind of deal he gets; once his ink dries, several contracts will get done.
