San Francisco 49ers: 5 potential Joe Staley successors in 2020 NFL Draft
Trey Adams – Washington
Adams has missed 16 games due to injury over the last two seasons. However, he was first-team All-Pac 12 in 2016 and, with his abilities as a pass protector in the zone running game, would on paper be a strong fit for the 49ers.
Height is again an issue, and Adams has had problems with getting low to win the leverage battle and a lack of lateral agility. Given those flaws and his significant injury history, Adams appears to be a prospect who could benefit from seasoning once he gets to the pros.
