Liam Eichenberg – Notre Dame

After a great rookie year for McGlinchey, why not add his former college team-mate? Eichenberg has performed up to standard at left tackle for the Fighting Irish since McGlinchey’s exit and having excelled at that spot, would have a strong case for playing there ahead of his fellow former Golden Domer were he to land with the Niners.

Eichenberg’s footwork is impressive but he could definitely benefit from learning more about techniques and hand placement from a player as experienced as Staley, whose influence helped McGlinchey enjoy an excellent maiden NFL season.
