Deebo Samuel – 49ers

Samuel was one of my favorite receivers in the entire draft because of his elite route-running and after-the-catch ability. He reminds me of Stefon Diggs (Vikings) for what he can do before, and after, he has the ball.

The 49ers need a player with Samuel’s skill set to take some of the pressure off of George Kittle and to give Jimmy Garoppolo a reliable playmaking target in the intermediate passing game. Dante Pettis will be San Francisco’s downfield weapon and Kittle will be their jack of all trades, but it’s Samuel who could end up being the most dynamic receiver on this roster by season’s end.

Yes, he’s that good. And yes, he could be one of the rare rookies to go over 1,000 yards in his first season.
