1) Travis Etienne- Clemson

As a man once said, “He makes fast people look… not fast.” That’s a perfect way to describe Travis Etienne.

Etienne is an absolute speed demon who is able to disintegrate angles. Defenders don’t stand a chance in a footrace to the end zone.

Etienne is a big play waiting to happen, especially when his offensive line gives him a crease. With his burst and speed, he’s able to squeeze through just about any hole, which isn’t always a given considering the stature of Clemson’s underwhelming offensive line.

It’s not uncommon to see speed backs, like Etienne, want to take everything outside, but that’s not the case here. If there’s open field to the outside he will surely take the gift, but he’s not going to force anything.

When picking between Etienne and D’Andre Swift, it all comes down to preference. For me, it came down to the fact that Etienne was able to do more as a playmaker with less help. That said, they’re both elite talents and fantastic NFL prospects.
