7. Detroit Lions – CeeDee Lamb (WR, Oklahoma)

The Lions need to add playmakers on offense. They’re on the right start after selecting Iowa TE T.J. Hockenson in the first round last April. But they have to give Matthew Stafford more downfield options to get the most out of the remainder of his career.

CeeDee Lamb is the kind of weapon who can give Stafford a guy who not only is a reliable route-runner with sticky hands, but he’s also capable of making ‘wow’ catches that would fall incomplete or even be intercepted if thrown to a less-talented player.

Lamb isn’t a burner, but he’s field-fast and plays the game a lot quicker than his eventual 40-yard dash will suggest.
