Myles Gaskin, Running Back, Miami Dolphins

Round 7 Pick 20 (Pick 234 Overall)

Myles Gaskin has the type of game that I like at running back. He is quick, elusive, and has more power than you would think given his size. Not to mention he was one of the most productive backs in college football the past few years. That said, he projects as mostly a third down back in the NFL.

The Dolphins badly needed help at running back after losing Frank Gore in free agency. They do have Kenyan Drake and Kallen Ballage on the roster, but neither has been as productive as their skills would indicate. Gaskin brings a different skill set to the group and slots in perfectly as the third-down back he is best suited for.

I expect Gaskin to be utilized often as a receiving back and a change pace quicker back behind the two bigger backs of Drake and Ballage.
