Dexter Williams, Running Back, Green Bay Packers

Round 6 Pick 21 (Pick 194 Overall)

Dexter Williams could be another in the line of late-round running backs to make an immediate impact. He has the size, speed, and elusiveness to be successful right away. He doesn’t have the power that you would expect for a back of his size, but he more than makes up for that with his quickness.

There is a lot of change happening around Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay, including a new coach in Matt LaFleur who is bringing a more run-oriented offense with him. While Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams have been a solid combination at running back, they lack a certain amount of explosiveness that Williams can provide.

It wouldn’t surprise me if  Williams starts out as more of a third-down back before getting more carries throughout the year as Green Bay learns what he is capable of.
