Ulysees Gilbert III, Linebacker, Pittsburgh Steelers

Round 6 Pick 34 (Pick 207 Overall)

I really liked the tape of Ulysees Gilbert every time I sat down to watch him. He is definitely undersized at 230 pounds but has excellent speed and quickness to make plays all over the field. The best comparison I can think of is Darius Leonard-lite.

The Steelers have been looking for more speed and athleticism in their linebacking corps ever since Ryan Shazier went down with his devastating injury. They added some of that with the Devin Bush in the first round. Gilbert will only add more as a rotational player and I predict he will be a special teams star right away in Pittsburgh.
