2. Dwayne Haskins – Washington Redskins

It’s unclear whether Haskins will beat out Colt McCoy and Case Keenum but he is obviously the future in Washington and is in a better spot to succeed than Jones is with the Giants.

Though it’s debatable which team has the better receiving options in the wake of the Odell Beckham Jr trade, the Redskins have more in terms of safety nets with tight ends Jordan Reed and Vernon Davis, a deep running back group and the experienced Paul Richardson, who brings inside out versatility.

He should be able to make better use of those targets than Jones will with the likes of Shepard and Engram having shown significantly greater proficiency as a deep-ball passer and done a better job of limiting mistakes in college.

Haskins also has the advantage of the Redskins having drafted his former Ohio State team-mate Terry McLaurin. They already have a great rapport from their days with the Buckeyes and their chemistry increases the odds of Haskins being a long-term success both on the field and in fantasy.

Like with Jones, a lot has to go right for Haskins to be a success, but his superior talent makes him a better bet to flourish and be a reliable dynasty option.
