4) Henry Ruggs III- Alabama

Ruggs is the first Alabama player to make the list, but not the last. Ruggs’ speed pops off the screen and the potential of a 4.2 40-yard dash at the combine is certainly there.

Ruggs doesn’t just rely on his speed, either. He has the contact balance of an elite running back. His ability to run through contact at his size is remarkable.

Ruggs has a  chance to be similar to the type of weapon Tyreek Hill has proven to be for the Kansas City Chiefs. He has the speed to make the explosive plays and he can play above the rim, too.

His contact balance not only comes into play when running the ball, but when catching it as well. Being on the smaller side doesn’t stop him from fighting through contact to make contested catches.

Ruggs won’t see the same production as some of the other elite talents in this group because of the depth of Alabama’s offense, but the skill is there and so is the first round potential.
