Every year there are multiple undrafted free agents who make their respective teams and are able to carve out a role as a rookie. In Part 3 of this series, we will look at 10 undrafted players who could end up having an impact of some sort in 2019.

Believe it or not, hitting on undrafted free agents is just as important for the success of NFL teams as hitting on their first or second round picks. A recent stat from the NFL showed that in 2017, 17% percent of the league’s regular contributors were actually undrafted free agents.

Admittedly, most of these players never become much more than special teams aces and solid depth at their positions. But there are plenty of examples throughout the NFL of undrafted free agents becoming not only starters, but potential stars.

Some of these players include Tony Romo, Antonio Gates, and Arian Foster. Some more recent examples include Chris Harris Jr., Andrew Norwell, and Phillip Lindsey.

Undrafted free agents have an uphill battle just to make an NFL roster, but these are the players who have the highest potential to make their respective teams and make a positive impact in 2019.
