Stud: Amari Cooper, WR (No. 4 overall, Raiders)

Amari Cooper has had quite the start to his NFL career. At times he’s been elite, at others he’s been far from it.

His time with the Raiders was cut short by coach Jon Gruden, who traded the former fourth-overall pick to the Cowboys last season. Cooper’s bizarre battle with drops and underutilization in Oakland’s offense made him expendable and he responded by proving in Dallas just how great of an impact he can make for an offense.

Cooper is an obvious stud from this first round. He’s already proven he can be a dominant NFL receiver. He has three 1,000-yard seasons under his belt already and had 725 yards and six touchdowns in just nine games as a Cowboy in 2018.

The Raiders hit a home run with this pick, even if it’s now the Cowboys who will reap the rewards.
