2. David Montgomery – Chicago Bears

The Bears traded up in the draft to get Montgomery after dealing Howard to the Eagles, and there is little preventing him from becoming the bellcow for Chicago right off the bat.

After averaging 8.2 yards per reception at Iowa State, Montgomery clearly has the ability to make a difference as a pass-catcher and consistently excelled as a runner with the Cyclones by displaying extremely impressive elusiveness.

Tarik Cohen may eat into some of his receiving opportunities while Mike Davis should prove a solid complementary piece who will cut into Montgomery’s rushing workload.

But Montgomery is clearly the most well-rounded back on the Bears’ roster and merits instant consideration as a starter. Dynasty players needing a long-term answer at running back should be targeting him in the early rounds.
