#6 Robert Griffin III: Drafted 2012 Round 1 Pick 2 Washington Redskins

The 2012 pre-draft rumor mill swirled around two Franchise QBs: Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin, III. This was a win/win by every estimation. Luck was the more pro-ready prospect with Griffin being the most electric.

With the Redskins desperate for a Quarterback, they did their best Sonny Weaver Jr. impression and traded three first round picks to move up to No. 2 overall. Only there was no happy ending to this Draft Day.

Griffin erupted in his rookie season winning Rookie of the Year honors and was named to the Pro Bowl and All-Rookie teams. Injuries in each of the next four seasons robbed Griffin of his opportunity to grow as a passer. After Washington, he spent a year in NFL Purgatory toiling away in Cleveland. Griffin is now the backup in Baltimore hoping for another chance to play.
