1. D.K. Metcalf – Seattle Seahawks

Numerous questions are still to be answered about Metcalf, the main one surrounding his ability to move fluidly in any direction other than a straight line.

But in Seattle he may not need to move in any other direction on a regular basis. Though there are significant concerns about his route-running, there is no doubt he has the size and the speed to be an excellent downfield weapon, which is exactly what he will asked to be in an offense that relies primarily on the run and the deep ball.

In terms of scheme and quarterback, Metcalf could not have asked for a better landing spot, with Russell Wilson arguably the best deep ball thrower in the NFL, giving the former Ole Miss Rebel the highest upside of any of this class of rookie receivers.

For him to blossom into the elite all-round receiver many believe he can be, Metcalf needs to make significant strides. However, given the Seahawks’ history of excelling at player development, dynasty players would be wise to back them to make the most of Metcalf’s God-given physical gifts and turn him into a star.
