2020 NFL Draft: Preseason Big Board and Positional Rankings
Running Backs
- Jonathan Taylor, Jr., Wisconsin
- Travis Etienne, Jr., Clemson
- D’Andre Swift, Jr., Georgia
- Ke’Shawn Vaughn, Sr., Vanderbilt
- Najee Harris, Jr., Alabama
Running back is another position that looks loaded for 2020. Especially if all the underclassmen declare early as expected. This top five is very close talent-wise so these guys can be shuffled in multiple ways and I wouldn’t argue the rankings. That being said, Jonathan Taylor is the leader of the group for me with an excellent combination of size, speed, power, and vision.
Etienne and Swift are two quicker guys with excellent speed and change of direction skills. Vaughn, the only senior in this group, has been productive (7.9 yards per carry last season) with his balance and change of direction. Harris is the typical highly-ranked recruit that Alabama seems to churn out every year. He is a bigger back at 6’2″ and 230 pounds but has excellent athleticism for that size.
