Defensive Backs

  1. Bryce Hall, Sr., Virginia (CB)
  2. Grant Delpit, Jr., LSU (S)
  3. Xavier McKinney, Jr., Alabama (S)
  4. CJ Henderson, Jr., Florida (CB)
  5. Cam Dantzler, Jr., Mississippi St. (CB)

There definitely won’t be a shortage of cornerbacks with excellent size and shutdown corner skills in 2020. Hall, Henderson, and Dantzler all fit that description. Paulson Adebo (Stanford), Jaylon Johnson (Utah), AJ Terrell (Clemson), and Jeffrey Okudah (Ohio St.) lead the extensive list of other cornerbacks who fit the bill and have an argument to be ranked here as well.

Delpit and McKinney are in a class by themselves as the top safeties in the country. Both are leaders of their respective secondaries and are excellent in coverage. Delpit has a bit better size and is more likely to come down and ley the wood in the run game.
