NFL Training Camps are opening around the league and preseason is right around the corner. Each team will be tasked with finding their best 53 players over the next few weeks in an effort to finalize their rosters for the regular season. In this series, we will try to predict which players will make each roster. First up, the Arizona Cardinals.

There is no denying that the Arizona Cardinals were at least one of the worst teams in the NFL last season. I mean, there is a reason they got the number one overall pick in the draft in the spring.

The lack of wins from last season brought in a new Head Coach in Kliff Kingsbury. General Manager Steve Keim is squarely on the hot seat after a few subpar years in Arizona. The moves he made this offseason point to the fact he is not looking for a long rebuild. Instead, results will be expected sooner than later.

Quarterbacks

  • Kyler Murray
  • Brent Hundley

Kyler Murray is the unquestioned starter in Arizona. They did not trade away last year’s first-round pick, Josh Rosen, and select Murray 1st overall for him to sit on the bench. Murray has electric skills that fit Kingsbury’s offense perfectly as well. Hundley is solidified as the veteran backup as there is not a better option currently on the roster.
