Safeties

  • Budda Baker
  • DJ Swearinger
  • Deionte Thompson
  • Jalen Thompson
  • Rudy Ford
  • Jonathan Owens

The Cardinals have a lot of versatile safeties who can do a lot of things in Vance Joseph’s defense. Budda Baker and DJ Swearinger should be locked in as the starters in the base defense. The rookies, Deionte and Jalen Thompson, should make the roster as versatile backups. I project Ford and Owens to make the team due to their abilities to be very good on Special Teams.
