A few NFL Training Camps have already opened with all teams starting camp by the end of the week. Each team will be tasked with finding their best 53 players over the next few weeks in an effort to finalize their rosters for the regular season. In this series, we will try to predict which players will make each roster. Next up, the Baltimore Ravens.

The Baltimore Ravens were able to finish 10-6 last season and make the playoffs. They lost to a superior Los Angeles Chargers team in the Wild Card round, but there was a lot for the Ravens to build around for the future. That most definitely includes electric second-year quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Longtime great General Manager Ozzie Newsome retired this offseason leaving his right-hand man Eric DeCosta in charge. DeCosta is well respected throughout the NFL and had a good offseason adding weapons for Jackson and overhauling the defense. The Ravens are primed to push for a playoff spot once again in 2019.

Quarterbacks

  • Lamar Jackson
  • Robert Griffin III

Lamar Jackson took over for Joe Flacco in Week 11 last season after Flacco suffered a hip injury and never looked back. Jackson is still developing as a passer, but there is an argument to be made that he is the most electric runner in the NFL. RGIII is a lock to make the roster as the backup and mentor to the young Jackson.
