Mention a player’s name as a first round candidate and suddenly that player has to play perfectly. Nate Stanley is far from perfect, just like every other quarterback. Stanley is a bit of a statue in the pocket and knows just a few bad passes and decisions were the difference in a 10-win season and the 8-4 record his Hawkeyes eventually ended up with. All things considered, Stanley has the makeup of an NFL quarterback and with a bit of polish, scouts will fall back in love with him all over again.
