In this 53-man roster series, we will try to predict which players will make every team’s final squad. Next up, the Denver Broncos.

From 2011 to 2015, the Broncos were one of the premier franchises in the league with 5 playoff appearances, 2 Super Bowl appearances, and 1 Super Bowl win. Since Peyton Manning retired, however, it has not been pretty for the storied franchise. They have failed to make the playoffs the last three years with a total of 20 wins in those three seasons.

New Head Coach Vic Fangio brings a different attitude to the team and may make an already good defense even better. The question has been the offense in recent years which is now under the direction of veteran quarterback Joe Flacco. If the offense can score enough the Broncos might just be able to push for a playoff spot in 2019.

Quarterback

  • Joe Flacco
  • Drew Lock
  • Kevin Hogan

The Broncos hope Joe Flacco still has a lot in the tank after he got pushed out of Baltimore by Lamar Jackson. Drew Lock needs a lot of development so will look to learn as much from Flacco as he can before taking over as the starter in a few years. Hogan makes the team as another veteran presence at the position.
