In this 53-man roster series, we will try to predict which players will make every team’s final squad. Next up, the Green Bay Packers.

Let’s just say that the Packers have had a tumultuous past two years. A very big reason for that was the building rift between Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy. This led to two straight seasons of missing the playoffs and eventually got McCarthy fired.

The theme of this offseason was change in Green Bay. Matt LaFleur takes over for McCarthy while the Packers were active in free agency for the first time in a very long time. One constant is Aaron Rodgers who is good enough to lead this improved roster back to the playoffs if everyone stays healthy.

Quarterbacks

  • Aaron Rodgers
  • DeShone Kizer

Despite battling multiple injuries in the past couple of years, Aaron Rodgers is still considered one of the best quarterbacks in the game. Expect a big year from him in the new offense if he is able to stay healthy. Kizer is locked in as the backup with a lot of still untapped potential. Packers fans do not want to see him on the field much in 2019.
