In this 53-man roster series, we will try to predict which players will make every team’s final squad. Next up, the Indianapolis Colts.

To say the Colts surpassed expectations last season would be an understatement. Especially after a 1-5 start, Indianapolis was largely considered one of the worst teams in the league once again. They were then able to reel off 9 wins in their last 10 games to make the playoffs. They even won the Wildcard game against the Houston Texans.

General Manager Chris Ballard has done a lot with the roster in Indianapolis since taking over just three years ago. He has created a young, deep, and talented roster. However, the Colts’ success still hinges on the health of star quarterback Andrew Luck.

Quarterbacks

  • Andrew Luck
  • Jacoby Brissett

When healthy, Andrew Luck is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. The problem is before last year he has missed significant time with injuries. Plus, he has already missed most of this offseason with a calf strain. Luckily, the Colts have one of the more talented backups in Jacoby Brissett who has been the focus of multiple trade talks in the last year or so.
