Josh Uche, Michigan

Another 3-4 edge defender, Josh Uche was reduced to limited snaps. Stuck behind two players drafted in 2019 — Rashan Gary and Chase Winovich  — Uche rarely saw the field; often only coming on third-downs or passing situations.

On the positive side, Uche was able to make the most out of his short time on the field, racking up 7 sacks and 8 tackles-for-loss. He brings elite speed off the edge, giving opposing tackles problems.

Uche has shown the ability to dip his shoulder and take the corner with ease, but with little to no reps against the run, it’s going to raise concern. In order to make the leap, he will need to prove he can stop the run.
