Darrell Taylor, Tennessee

Darrell Taylor put up 8 sacks last season, coming in only 3 games despite appearing in all of Tennessee’s 12 games. The most came against Kentucky, tallying  4 total sacks in that contest.

Coming away from his tape there are not many takeaways on the negative side other than needing to add counter moves. He struggles to shed when his first move fails, but given another year he should have no problem stitching that up.

Taylor is the perfect size when projecting him to the next level. He’s listed as 6-foot-4 255 pounds. Not only does he possess the size, but he has the athleticism as well. Taylor should have one of the better combines in his class, solidifying him as one of the top edge rushers in his class.
