In this 53-man roster series, we will try to predict which players will make every team’s final squad. Next up, the New England Patriots.

What more is there to say about that Patriots at this point? They have been a dynasty for going on 20 years now and just won yet another Super Bowl in 2018.

The roster underwent some major changes this offseason. The most concerning loss for New England is the retirement of Rob Gronkowski. Trent Brown, Trey Flowers, and Chris Hogan are other talented players. But as long as Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are in New England, the Patriots should be considered Super Bowl contenders.

Quarterbacks

  • Tom Brady
  • Jarrett Stidham

Tom Brady is a lock for the Hall of Fame as soon as he retires (he has to eventually, right?) and is still playing at a high level as a 42-year-old NFL quarterback. Stidham has been very impressive in the preseason and looks like the new heir apparent to Brady in New England.
