Safeties

  • Justin Evans
  • Jordan Whitehead
  • Mike Edwards
  • Darian Stewart
  • Kentrell Brice

Justin Evans is one of the more underrated good, young safeties in the NFL. Whitehead is a solid complement alongside him. Stewart provides a physical presence and depth while Brice is better in coverage and has the skills to slide down to cornerback as well. Edwards is a third-round pick who is strong and physical and will provide depth and help on Special Teams early in his career.

Special Teams

  • Matt Gay
  • Bradley Pinion
  • Zach Triner

Bruce Arians has said that it is not out of the question for the Bucs to keep two kickers on the roster with Gay and Cairo Santos. Gay has the much stronger leg and has been more impressive this preseason so if they only keep one kicker he looks to be the guy right now. Pinion and Triner finish out the group as a solid punter and long snapper, respectively.
