There is no other way to describe the way Tua Tagovailoa has been playing this year other than to say he has been incredibly efficient. That efficiency continued against over-matched Southern Miss where Tagovailoa completed over 80% of his passes, threw for nearly 300 yards, and threw for five touchdowns on the day. That puts his totals at 1,300 pass yards with 18 total touchdowns on the season. Oh, and he has yet to throw an interception in four games as well.

No. 2-ranked Alabama with host conference rival Mississippi this weekend in Tuscaloosa. The schedule sets up well for Alabama and Tagovailoa to continue their early-season success leading up to the big showdown with LSU in November.
