Season Stats: 81-for-116 (69.8%)| 1,092 yards| 16 TD| O INT| 46 rushes| 222 yards| 7 TD
The only true way to describe Justin Fields right now is as a touchdown machine.
He has yet to crack 250 passing yards or 100 rushing yards in a game this season, but that hasn’t stopped him from accounting for 23 total touchdowns (16 passing, 7 rushing).
In what was the Buckeyes’ toughest test of the season to this point against Nebraska, Fields accounted for another four total touchdowns in the victory. Oh, and Fields has yet to throw an interception this season.
Ohio State has looked like one of the most complete teams in the country and are a legitimate contender for the National Championship. As long as Fields can keep scoring at a high rate and lead his team to victory he will stay right in the thick of the Heisman conversation. Fields and Ohio State face another tough conference foe on Saturday when they take on the Michigan State Spartans.
