College Football is heading into conference play and the NFL is picking up; it must be mock draft season.

We are officially a quarter of the way through the season — for most teams, some still have only played 3 games — and we have a decent handle on each team’s needs come the 2020 NFL Draft.

That being said, here is my first mock draft of the season.

1) Washington Redskins, 0-4: Andrew Thomas, OT, Georgia

Trent Williams appears to be done with the Redskins for good, leaving a big hole at LT. Thomas is the best LT in the draft and should protect Haskin’s blind-side for years to come (or until Haskins gets replaced).

2) Denver Broncos, 0-4: Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon

It has been no secret that John Elway loves himself some Herbert; last season Elway personally attended one of Herbert’s games against Washington. Joe Flacco certainly isn’t it and Lock is still extremely raw, there is no reason to pass on a QB with Herbert’s level of talent.

3) Cincinnati Bengals, 0-4: Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama

Zac Taylor has taken over as the head coach of Cincinnati and done a decent job at bringing some life back to the Bengals (and John Ross). The only problem is you can only do so much with Andy Dalton; by drafting Tua the Bengals hope he can bring some of his improvisation skills to Cincinnati.

4) Miami Dolphins, 0-4: Chase Young, Edge, Ohio State

Have no fear Miami, Josh Rosen has looked like a capable QB and it’s not time to throw in the towel. Yes, you don’t come away with a QB, but this may just be a blessing in disguise: you get the best player in the draft. Young will have an immediate impact on Miami and, Dolphin fans, you will not be disappointed.

5) New York Jets, 0-4: Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama

The Jets helped Sam Darnold out this last offseason by bringing in Le’Veon Bell and they continue that momentum into the draft. Jeudy is an explosive route runner who is capable of making plays after the catch. Some say he reminds them of a former New York receiver, Odell Beckham Jr.
