Justin Fields had his normal efficient, touchdown-centric game against Michigan State on Saturday. He accounted for three total touchdowns while completing 68% of his passes for over 200 yards. He has been a touchdown machine this season as this stat from ESPN Stats & Info shows:
Fields has been everything Ohio State fans could have expected as a dual-threat quarterback when he transferred in from Georgia. If there is one negative to take away from the game against Michigan State, it’s that he threw his first interception of the season. In reality, that just goes to show how truly good Fields has been to this point in the season.
Ohio State will enjoy a BYE this week before Fields leads the Buckeyes against another tough defense when they travel to Northwestern on October 18th.
