. Edge. Miami Dolphins. AJ Epenesa. 12. player. 59

A team with the picks Miami has accumulated should take the opportunity to draft cornerstone players. Having the quarterback early allows the team to snag an edge rusher here to build the defense on. AJ Epenesa fits what the Dolphins do defensively and is a real steal at 12.

Las Vegas Raiders. Jeffrey Okudah. 13. player. 28. . Cornerback

Speaking of steals. The Raiders continue to add speed while locking down one side of the cornerback position. Jeffrey Okudah is a top-10 talent who should really sit at the top of the Raiders’ board.

Isaiah Simmons. 14. player. 32. . Linebacker. Arizona Cardinals

Without a premier offensive lineman worth the selection, Isaiah Simmons makes perfect sense for the Cardinals. Simmons is a versatile defender who fills in all over the field and will help any team against the run and pass.

. Cornerback. Philadelphia Eagles. Kristian Fulton. 15. player. 54

The Eagles have been terrible in pass coverage for a few seasons now. Whoever is the top cornerback prospect when Philly is on the clock is the pick. Here, it’s LSU’s Kristian Fulton.

Trevon Diggs. 16. player. 52. . Cornerback. Jacksonville Jaguars

Trevon Diggs won’t replace Jalen Ramsey, but he fills the hole with an impressive skill set.

35. . Quarterback. Tennessee Titans. Justin Herbert. 17. player

Marcus Mariota simply doesn’t fit what the Titans are doing offensively. On the other hand, Ryan Tannehill has shown nothing in his career to prove he’s capable of leading a team to a championship. Justin Herbert is a more pro-style prospect than Mariota was coming out and will complement the offense in Tennessee well.

Cornerback. Detroit Lions. Paulson Adebo. 18. player. 50.

Paulson Adebo still needs to prove he is a first-round talent, but the moves Detroit has made prior to the trade deadline have created holes that must be filled. With Darius Slay’s future with the team in question after trade rumors, the Lions will likely have to pull the trigger early on a corner here.

. Offensive Tackle. Carolina Panthers. Alex Leatherwood. 19. player. 87

While Cam Newton’s injuries are mostly a result of his playing style, the lack of protection up front has been equally culpable. Whether the team sticks with Newton or moves forward with Kyle Allen, protection is key. Alex Leatherwood is a versatile tool on the offensive line who can plug into the Panthers’ front and help keep the quarterback upright.

CeeDee Lamb. 20. player. 52. . Wide Receiver. Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars need to put explosive players in their offense. CeeDee Lamb is one such weapon who has an exciting run-after-catch game.

123. . Edge. Dallas Cowboys. Yetur Gross-Matos. 21. player

Yetur Gross-Matos is a raw prospect, but his potential is undeniable. Something about him filling a Cowboys uniform just seems right. Having a veteran like Robert Quinn to bring Gross-Matos along will pay dividends for this Dallas defense moving forward.

Running Back. Miami Dolphins. Travis Etienne. 22. player. 59.

The Dolphins’ third pick is used on a playmaker here. Travis Etienne has the power to carry the full load plus the speed and quickness to provide chunk highlight plays. Suddenly, the Miami offense looks like a budding threat.
