Kansas City Chiefs. Laviska Shenault. 23. player. 124. . Wide Receiver

Laviska Shenault will climb boards during the process, but will inevitably fall due to needs. While the Chiefs’ offense certainly isn’t hurting for playmakers, adding one more won’t hurt. Shenault’s versatility would make for more exciting football in what is already the most explosive offense in the NFL.

. Wide Receiver. Minnesota Vikings. Tee Higgins. 24. player. 60

It’s not a given Stefon Diggs will be with the Vikings in 2020. Tee Higgins isn’t the same type of receiver but is still a weapon Kirk Cousins would enjoy having.

25. player. 16. . Running Back. Buffalo Bills. Jonathan Taylor

Jonathan Taylor’s game seems built for Buffalo. His powerful style will take the pressure off Josh Allen as he continues to progress into an NFL quarterback while simultaneously providing big-play potential.

26. player. 46. . Interior D-Lineman. Indianapolis Colts. Javon Kinlaw

Another pick that just fits. Javon Kinlaw is an underrated talent who will step in and make an immediate impact wherever he lands. For the Colts, he adds a much-needed pass rush help.

Marvin Wilson. 27. player. 36. . Interior D-Lineman. Seattle Seahawks

Marvin Wilson’s name loses value as the Florida State program continues to fall from grace. While he may not be a household prospect, he fits in with the Seahawks defense well.

49. . Linebacker. Green Bay Packers. Dylan Moses. 28. player

Dylan Moses may not even enter the draft. He’s a top-15 talent who will fall for having torn his ACL in the preseason this year. Still, should he come out, the Packers are an excellent fit for the middle linebacker.

Wide Receiver. Baltimore Ravens. DeVonta Smith. 29. player. 26.

Tylan Wallace was earmarked in this spot before the news broke of his unfortunate injury. Still, the Ravens need more weapons offensively, particularly at receiver. DeVonta Smith becomes the third Alabama wideout selected in the first round and is a fine complement to Marquise Brown’s speed.

K.J. Hamler. 30. player. 15. . Wide Receiver. New Orleans Saints

This pick is similar to the Chiefs with Shenault: add to an explosive offense. KJ Hamler’s speed will fill the void left by Ted Ginn, a free agent at the end of the season.

42. . Running Back. San Francisco 49ers. D'Andre Swift. 31. player

The 49ers have had a revolving door at running back since Frank Gore’s departure. Though the offense looks great right now, having a premier running back at a cheap price tag will only serve to expand Kyle Shanahan’s offense in the future.

Quarterback. New England Patriots. Jacob Eason. 32. player. 47.

There’s simply too much uncertainty in Tom Brady’s future with the team. As baffling as that statement is, regardless of whether he stays in New England or not, it’s time to actually find the next quarterback for the Patriots.

Jacob Eason needs good coaching and a reliable scheme, all of which he’ll have in abundance in Foxborough.
