Running Backs

  1. Jonathan Taylor, Wisconsin
  2. D’Andre Swift, Georgia
  3. Travis Etienne, Clemson
  4. JK Dobbins, Ohio St.
  5. Chuba Hubbard, Oklahoma St.

Jonathan Taylor’s excellent blend of size, strength, speed, and vision has been on display all season and has him atop a very good running back class. Swift and Etienne are both having the type of seasons everyone expected as feature backs at Georgia and Clemson. After a somewhat down year last year, JK Dobbins has burst back on the scene with impressive balance, power, and underrated speed.

The most improved back this season would have to be Chuba Hubbard. He has good size combined with superb speed. He has used that speed on multiple explosive runs to help him lead all of college football in rushing yards. He does have a very upright running style, which could cause some durability concerns at the next level.
