Interior Defensive Linemen

  1. Derrick Brown, Auburn
  2. Javon Kinlaw, South Carolina
  3. Raekwon Davis, Alabama
  4. Neville Gallimore, Oklahoma
  5. Marvin Wilson, Florida St.

Derrick Brown could have been a high draft pick last year, but he chose to go back to Auburn for his senior season. It has paid off in a big way for Brown as he has established himself as one of the best defensive prospects in the class. He has an excellent first step and, when combined with his strength and power, Brown can be almost unblockable. Kinlaw has made a big jump in his senior season as well. He has maybe the best athletic traits of the bunch but needs to improve his technique and hand usage as a pass rusher to fully reach his potential.

Davis and Gallimore are two very powerful seniors who play with good leverage and are the definition of run stoppers. Their athletic profile and get off hold them back a little bit as pass rushers, which is why they are not higher on this list. Wilson has all the physical tools you could want in a defensive tackle and will test very well at the Scouting Combine, but his slow mental processing will likely drop him into the early second round if he declares after this season as a Junior.
