The 2020 NFL Draft edge rush class is highlighted by Chase Young, but after him, things get a little foggy as to how good this pass rush group can be.

The 2019 rookie edge rushers (Nick Bosa, Josh Allen, and Brian Burns) have taken the NFL by storm., but that may not be the case for the 2020 NFL Draft class. Chase Young appears to be a sure-fire stud, but when you look for the next guy in line, they are some questions.

AJ Epenesa was favorited early by some before the college season began, but lack of production has seen his stock hit a decline. K’Lavon Chaisson had a bunch of hype heading into the season after miss all last year with an injury but hasn’t affected the passing game as much as we all had hoped. Terrell Lewis has flashed in several games this season, but in the biggest game of the year, he was outshined by teammate Anfernee Jennings.

Julian Okwara has just about every physical tool in the book and against Virginia, he put that on display, but outside of that contest, he’s had extremely underwhelming performances. Yetur Gross-Matos fits the mold that nearly every NFL team is looking for at the next level, but is being out produced by his teammate Shaka Toney in the sack category.

All these pass rushers have the potential to be pro bowl level players the next level, but the question remains; will they reach their ceilings? Here we’ll take a look at what may make-or-break their NFL careers.
