Summary/Final Thoughts

Here in this 2020 mock draft, the Cleveland Browns were able to fill voids in multiple locations on their roster. Adding size and talent to both the offensive and defensive trenches in Andrew Thomas and Neville Gallimore, the Browns address the struggles at both positions.

Safety has been another area for concern this season in Cleveland, so adding multiple in this mock draft does not hurt them as the long and athletic Hamsah Nasirildeen and the rising Antoine Winfield Jr. were added in the third and seventh rounds respectfully. Adding two rookies to the secondary does not mean they both have to start right away, but the brown and orange may have a duo for the future here.

The other picks added were predominantly depth pieces off the edge, at tight end, and at wide receiver. Khalid Kareem gives Wilks some depth behind Garrett and Vernon, Harrison Bryant gives head coach Freddie Kitchens a dynamic 12 personnel pairing across from David Njoku at tight end, and Justin Jefferson gives the Browns a big, playmaking deep threat after the release of Antonio Callaway.

After many thought the 2019 season would be the year the Browns finally got back to the playoffs, maybe these additions in the draft will push the team over the edge and give their much deserving fans a playoff game.
