11. Pick Analysis. Alabama. Jerry Jeudy. WR. player. 52. Scouting Report

With the eleventh pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select Jerry Jeudy, wide receiver, Alabama.

Jacksonville loves their quick twitch, speedy receivers such as D.J. Chark and Dede Westbrook. While this pick is a bit of a luxury for the Jaguars, could you imagine the threat of Chark and Jeudy on the outside, with Westbrook in the slot? The Jacksonville Chiefs, y’all; speed everywhere.

The best wide receiver in this class, Jeudy has the quick twitch necessary to separate off the line of scrimmage and to snap off routes on a dime. Although he has a smaller build, Jeudy has elite body control and uses his speed and agility to his advantage; he has been a best friend on the field to Tua Tagovailoa. Similar to that of Odell Beckham Jr., Jeudy thrives in the open field and does not struggle to create separation.

As the Jaguars’ defense is still playing at an efficient level despite the departure of Jalen Ramsey, Jacksonville has the luxury to look to the offensive side of the ball once again. As they take advantage of this luxury, they land maybe the best offensive playmaker in Jerry Jeudy with the eleventh pick in the draft to give Nick Foles, Gardner Minshew, or whoever their future quarterback will be a shiny toy to play with.
