With the fourteenth pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Oakland Raiders select CeeDee Lamb, wide receiver, Oklahoma.

The Oakland Raiders thought they had a big time receiver this summer when they traded for Antonio Brown, but we all know how that one turned out. Now they have just Tyrell Williams as their biggest threat on the outside, traded for Zay Jones from the Buffalo Bills, and drafted Hunter Renfrow a year ago as well.

Here they go out and get a bonafide number one receiver in CeeDee Lamb with their first rounder to give Derek Carr another toy to play with. Lamb, right now, is battling with Alabama’s Jerry Jeudy for the right to be called the 2020 draft class’ best receiver. This writer currently has Jeudy ranked above Lamb, but he too has been given a first round grade.

While Lamb lacks elite speed and route running ability, he has some of the best hands and body control in the class. For his big 6-2 and 200 pound frame as well, Lamb is still electric after the catch and with the ball in his hand. The Raiders lack that guy who can go out and make a splash play on any down, so they take Lamb about halfway through the first round.
