Scouting Report

Named to Bruce Feldman’s preseason freak list, Oklahoma Sooners’ defensive tackle Neville Gallimore is a rare breed. While he came into the season under the radar due to lack of good film from a year ago, he has now taken a gigantic leap forward as a senior down in Norman; do not be surprised to see Gallimore’s athleticism light up the eyes of NFL teams as he could hear his name called in the first round.

While he finished his junior season with just three sacks and five tackles for loss from his defensive tackle spot, the 6-2 and 302 pound defensive tackle has already matched that total in just ten games this season for the Sooners. In the process, Gallimore has cleaned up his technique and put together some solid film as well.

Rumor has it that the big boy can run a sub-4.8 second 40 yard dash, and if he does that at the combine in March, all eyes will be on him. He has also received and accepted his Senior Bowl invite as well. Do not sleep on Gallimore as some of the back end of the draft could look to add athletic depth to their defensive front.
