Small but mighty, Swift can run you over

I guess the only thing left to talk about is the contact balance of Swift; again he is 215 pounds, so while he may only be 5’9, he is strong legs to churn forward and run through soft tacklers. In the clip below, Swift is able to work his way into the endzone even after taking a hit that he was able to bounce off of.

Overall Swift is a great, well-rounded back with big play potential every time he touches the football. Between the tackles, out of the backfield as a receiver, and in the open field, Swift is a dynamic runner with elite playmaking ability; again, do not establish the run, establish playmakers.

While the running back position is the lowest of priorities in the draft and around the league given their shelf life and the pass-heavy nature of today’s NFL. Very few running backs go in the first round, as Josh Jacobs of the Oakland Raiders was the only one to go in the top 32 in the 2019 draft.

There is no guarantee that any running back will go in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, but Swift has a first round grade and all the potential to land in the top 32 this upcoming April. Just imagine Swift in an offense like that of the Kansas City Chiefs where, like his pro comp LeSean McCoy is making plays (he was actually mocked to them here).

Don’t establish the run, establish playmakers. D’Andre Swift is that playmaker waiting to be unleashed at the next level.
