There is more to watch for than the 2020 NFL Draft, as there are some elite true freshmen that look to make up a stacked 2022 NFL Draft class.

It goes without saying that looking into college football players two years before they are draft eligible is a risky game to play, but yet here we are anyway. Looking ahead to the 2022 NFL Draft, we take a look at ten true freshman already contributing at a high level for their current teams and could be elite prospects by the time the 2020 NFL Draft is far in the past.

While a ton could happen over the next two years such as injuries, off the field incidents, and the rise of other true freshmen in the class, there have been a large number of true freshman already performing at a high level in this 2019 college football season. The purpose of this article is to identify ten (well 15 including honorable mentions) players who already look like stars in the making even after playing high school ball just a year ago.

Here are the top 10 true freshmen already making an impact on power five teams and could hear their names called in the top 50 of the 2022 NFL Draft in just over two years from now.
