Scouting Report

Harrison, Jackson, and now the University of Oregon’s Kayvon Thibodeaux are setting the stage for the pass rushing class of 2022 to be a great one. He has appeared in nine games for the Ducks this year and has looked like a force to be reckoned with as he has come of age over the past few weeks.

On the season, Thibodeaux has tallied eight tackles behind the line of scrimmage and five and a half tackles behind the line of scrimmage as the Oregon Ducks are fighting for the fourth and final spot for the College Football Playoffs. He has also gotten his hands on two passes at the line of scrimmage and forced one fumble during his true freshman campaign.

At 6-5 and 242 pounds, Thibodeaux has put his athleticism on full display as the Pac-12 is starting to regain some of the punch that it used to have back in the days when USC and Oregon were highly regarded. He does a great job of bursting off the line of scrimmage, but has the mental dexterity to keep contain rather than go head hunting for quarterbacks.

He has already put his name on the map as an established threat off the edge and it is all up from here for Thibodeaux.
