Scouting Report

Fans of the Ohio State Buckeyes have seen no shortage of great pass rushing prospects come through Columbus, Ohio. Imagine seeing a string of Joey Bosa, Sam Hubbard, Nick Bosa, and now the presumed top prospect in the 2020 NFL Draft in Chase Young follow each other consecutively.

The run does not end when Young inevitably declares for the draft after this season as they have a true freshman and former five star pass rushing prospect who has already claimed next in Zach Harrison. While he has played sparingly this year for a deep edge group in Columbus, Harrison has made an impact when he has seen the field.

Appearing in seven games for the Buckeyes this year, the 6-6 and 255 pound prospect has managed to make his way into the backfield of the opposition. He has tallied two and a half sacks and four and a half tackles for loss in a limited, rotational role as a true freshman. As the Buckeyes have multiple players off the edge of their defense who will be moving on after this season, Harrison is looking a starting role in the face moving forward.

He has already flashed a great rip move off the edge, but will need to add a few more attacks to his arsenal; luckily he still has two more years to do so.
