USC vs. UCLA: 5 2020 NFL Draft Prospects to watch

Joshua Kelly RB
Scouting Report
Kelley has been the bell cow for an inconsistent Bruins offense and is arguably the Bruins’ best prospect. He leads the team in rushing by a significant margin and is second in the Pac-12 conference in yards per game and touchdowns behind Utah’s Zack Moss. He transferred to UCLA after starting at FCS UC Davis.
Kelly has rushed for 935 yards and ten touchdowns on 195 attempts to date. He’s one of the more underrated running backs due to the depth at the position not only in the conference but nationally as well.
He’s an in-between the tackles type of runner with some flexibility to bounce runs to the perimeter. Lateral agility is a plus with him as he has great footwork to fool defenders.

Darnay Holmes CB
Scouting Report
Holmes is one of the more underrated cornerback prospects in the class because of the loaded depth at the position. He’s one of the best in the Pac-12 that no one talks about due to the Bruins’ situation.
He’s an athlete that has more than enough to speed to keep up with the fleet-footed receivers. Holmes is a bit aggressive at the line of scrimmage from the tape and that can be exploited rather easily. He shows good tackling fundamentals, however. Not a home run hitter but is content with singles and doubles.
Holmes has 22 tackles, one tackle for loss, and one sack on the 2019 season.
