Scouting Report

Saving the best for last, Ohio State football may, once again, produce the top cornerback in the 2020 NFL Draft class in Jeffrey Okudah. Like Lattimore and Ward, Okudah could be the next big time lockdown corner to come from the DBU that is located in Columbus, Ohio.

Okudah has the best footwork in the class, mirroring his assignment with elite hip movement and hand placement off of the line of scrimmage. He tracks the ball so well, using the eyes of his opponent, and breaks on it with great timing as to avoid being penalized. A bonafide press man cornerback, Okudah looks like a top ten lock in the 2020 NFL Draft at this point in the college football season.

Pairing his smooth hips with his fancy footwork, Okudah can break on the ball once he reads and reacts with great fluidity. At 6-10 and 200 pounds, Okudah has a great deal of size and length to bully receivers down the field and excellent ball skills to cap plays off; as a result, he will likely be the first cornerback to come off the board in the upcoming draft.

Next. Testing will make or break Cal linebacker Evan Weaver. dark

Footwork, hip movement, ball skills, and smarts, Okudah has all of the makings of an elite cornerback prospect. One NFL team is going to get lucky to add the services of this Buckeye to their roster this upcoming Spring. The best of three from the Ohio State football program, Okudah is on the path to NFL stardom.
