Jonathan Taylor seemed dead in the water in regards to his Heisman chances after he put up a dud against Ohio State. Taylor has responded in a big way since then, however, putting his name squarely back in the conversation. He has gone for over 200 yards rushing in each game since Ohio State and has also accounted for three touchdowns in that span.

Specifically, in his last game against Purdue, he accounted for 222 yards on the ground and found the endzone once. Taylor is now second in the nation in nearly every statistical rushing category with the string of excellent performances.

Taylor will have a great opportunity to have a “Heisman Moment” this weekend when Wisconsin takes on 10th-ranked Minnesota. The winner of this game will win the division and thus, get to compete in the Big Ten Championship versus Ohio State. Taylor can definitely improve his chances to at least get invited to the Heisman ceremony if he can put together another strong performance and help lead his Badgers to victory on Saturday.
