While he remains buried in a deep class of running backs for the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft, Mississippi State’s Kylin Hill has bellcow potential.
The 2020 NFL Draft will have an incredibly high number of running backs taken in the middle rounds of the draft. Names like Florida State’s Cam Akers, Arizona State’s Eno Benjamin, Utah’s Zack Moss, and LSU’s Clyde Edwards-Helaire stand out as the class that leads the second and third tier of running backs in this class; one name that must not be forgotten is Mississippi State’s Kylin Hill.
As a sophomore a year ago, Hill usurped the starting running back role from senior Aeris Williams, who was coming off a 1,000 yard season from the year before. After Williams graduated after last year, Hill has taken over the bellcow role for the Bulldogs and has not looked back in 2019.
At 5-11 and 215 pounds, Hill has the power, speed, and versatility to be a three down back at the next level; a top five back in the opinion of this writer, some NFL team may get quite the bargain once the 2020 NFL Draft rolls around in a few months. It is hard to watch Hill’s tape and fall in love with the explosiveness and shifty footwork that he brings to the table.
Above was just an introduction to what the Mississippi State running back brings to the table. Here is an in-depth breakdown of Mississippi State running back Kylin Hill.
